Woot! I'm sooo excited!

I am so excited! Last night David was able to finish putting the floor into our kitchen. Until now we had scraps of carpet covering the subfloor for almost a year now. Thanks to our flood in our basement and the loss of a few items we could care less about or not able to really replace, i.e. Christmas wrap and container an old rocking chair, bookshelf and various toys games and movies we were able to use the money to buy the floor for the kitchen! It has been longer wait than anticipated, but that is life isn't it. "Life is what happens, when you've made other plans"
Anywhoo I am so excited I even mopped it with pleasure this morning, now that is strange who mops their floor with pleasure? hehe
I think it looks really nice and I am looking for advice on what other colors to bring into the room so far it's color scheme is blue, chocolate brown, brushed silver and a black. My black sink ROCKS! Who knew I had a dream sink, but this is it! Believe me I was surprised!
I am not afraid of color and need to make or buy some curtains to cover my deck door. Hoping to hear your thoughts.
