Yesterday was so nuts that I never got around to blogging or for that matter I didn't take a picture either! I need to get the camera back from David, so I can keep it in my purse! Darn it!
The first day was a little stressful because I worried about Xander and his friend Matthew going to the right place for me to pick them up in the afternoon. Their attention span is not too much lets say! Anyway after showing them the place I wanted them to meet me I took them both to their classes- kissed them yeah both of em and told em to have a great day. I was very excited and happy for them I didnt even feel any ache-just JOY! Xander would be busy all day and not be in my face asking me who he can play with, he was sooooo ready! The best part of yesterday was when I picked them up and he ran to the car and I unrolled the window and he just kept saying " I love you, I love you, I love you!" Wow I said did ya missed me and he said "YES"!
Today was different for drop off, I dropped them off in front of the school and he got out and said bye Mom. He then shut the door and ran, my heart sank. I was thinking about it and what was different from yesterday to today was ....He left me. It was a dramatically strange experience and I am sure it will get easier over the next little while.
Josie ditched me as soon as we got there, so you know she is a 6th grader and knows where she is going and doesn't really need me there. I expected it so it wasn't too bad. She has been nervous cuz her arm wasn't casted yesterday and she broke her right arm so she was just sick how this was gonna work. But she came home pretty happy and had a great day!
Shay came home and also had a great day, she mocked the sevies (7th graders)and fell right into 8th grade like it was nothing big, or new to her. She loves all her teachers so far, but who knows its only been the 1st day. :)

You guys were so awesome at the auction! So funny. Thanks so much for doing that. You guys totally rock!!
Awww.... your little kids are all grown up!! Shay and Josie "rule the school" so to speak. I don't think I'll be that sad with Eli either. When they're ready, they're ready. But sad about no camera!!! Take some tomorrow and pretend its the first day. I want to see!!!
