Mammia Mia! Well that is what the Central Singers sang! They did a medley of several songs from that show with choreography! It was a very fun show and we had a great time watching the other choirs as well.
It was a monumental night, where my two handsome, perfect, swweet nephews sang also. Taylor is in Central Singers with Shayleigh and my Jayson was in the 7th grade boys choir.
My Mom was so thrilled to see three of her grandchildren in one show, she was just beaming. The Hubs parents came also and enjoyed the show, they even stopped by later and we had a nice visit with them and got some one and one time.
Shayleigh's voice teacher came also, we were so impressed she was there, not only is she a fabulous teacher but she is so supportive outside of lessons as well. Thanks Aimee we love you!
And then of course last, but not least my sister Bonnie and her family was there to support their boys and Shay. Thanks to Jay for taking pics of Shay- I'm still working on remembering to bring my camera! It will happen I just know it! Well enough of the Thank you's! Lets talk about what happened leading up to the performance. Anything that I share here is not trying to mean to my Shay, it is just something she struggles with. The outfits for choir were such drama. The students get to try them on at school and they make the call on whether they are the right size. Because of the styles that this age group wears, I am not sure they know what size they are. Wow! I sound like a fuddy duddy old lady. Arhg! Any way I think when your under pressure to choose a style and size sometimes you tend to go big to over compensate. You know bigger can always go smaller, but smaller can not get bigger. So after her wearing this shirt to school (not happily) to advertise their concert, and being very upset with how it fit. She is not too big, she is kinda little for her age and the parents she has. Weird I know, but we will keep her! hehehe We ended up washing and drying the shirt after school in hopes it would shrink a little and it did, but not enough for her. We will be taking it in, in hopes she will feel more comfortable. And I will hope we have learned something from this, try on the shirt before the morning of the concert to give us time for alterations! Lesson learned!

poor Shayleigh. I understand about the shirt. I always err on the side of too big too (even now). She looks great though!
(and haven't made it to the library yet, but Goose Girl and Book of a Thousand days are #1 on my list) :) Thank you!!
